I taught my friend how to drive stick in my car last night. In about an hour I taught him how to properly launch (no 2k clutch drops, pls) and we only stalled a few times. It helps that he's an ex-runner so he's got enough muscle control to work the stiff clutch.
He's not confident enough to drive on the streets, but we're working on that. Sadly he wants to buy the automatic-only TLX because the closest manual TSX is a few states away and he doesn't want a FiST or FoST. He does seem interested in the Civic Si, though.

The Si's shifter is sweet, but that's about the only thing about it that outshines other cars in its class.
